SCHERDEL wins Global Supplier Award
This year, Robert Bosch GmbH, the world's largest supplier of
automotive components, once again presented its Global
Supplier Award as recognition of above-average performance
in the manufacture and supply of products or services.
SCHERDEL again beat off stiff competition from thousands of
suppliers from eleven countries to walk away with the coveted
award. The theme of this year’s ceremony was “Partners in
Success” and the award was presented for outstanding per-
formance, notably in the areas of quality, costs, logistics and
innovation. A total of just forty-four Bosch suppliers were hon-
oured. This made it an even greater joy for Managing Director
Maximilian von Waldenfels and Sales Manager and Deputy
Head of Department Matthias Herold that SCHERDEL was MANUFACTURING TECHNIQUES
one of the award winners. The Global Supplier Award from
Bosch has been honouring outstanding performance for
roughly 20 years. It was awarded for the fifteenth time in
2017. However, it is not the first time that SCHERDEL has
won this award. It is particularly pleasing that the Group’s
power electronic, battery technology and electric motor capa-
bilities ensure it is well positioned to respond to and to facili- The photo shows: Dr Karl Nowak (President Corporate Sector Purchasing
